Abstract Submission Instructions & Guidelines
Dear Participant!
You are invited to submit abstracts of your work to be presented at the XIV ISAH Congress 2009 in Vechta, Germany either in the oral or poster sessions. Submitted papers should be topical, current and preferably address one of the conference sections outlined below.
Submission is open from October 2008 until submission deadline: February 10, 2009 using this portal.
We provide this webserver for online abstract submission. Please make sure your webbrowser supports javascript / active-scripting (optimized for Mozzilla, Safari, Firefox).
General Notice
Abstracts must be textual, written in English and submitted electronically using this portal. Papers delivered in any other form to the ISAH 2009 Congress Organisation Committee will not be accepted because they can not be processed.
Abstract length is limited to 2200 characters (title, author related information and references not included). Please make sure, your work is in the scope of the section you have chosen below. Any registered participants can submit one or more abstracts for oral presentation or poster session.
Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Board and the submitting author will be contacted by email using the email adress submitted with the personal registration information.
Abstract Submission
You need to register online for the Congress using the registration web-form to publish and present your work at the XIV ISAH Congress 2009. After registration you receive a personal Reg. No. by email, which you need to submit your abstract.
Please note, that payment of the Conference fees is not necessary for abstract submission but payment shall be done before you submit the final paper for publication.
Three steps to submit your abstract:
Step 1) Best prepare your abstract using a text editor or word processing software and leave the window open for easy copy & paste operation later. Please follow the content structure below:

Format: Name(#), Initials seperated by '-' ended by a semikolon. i.e.: Briese(1), A-H;
Format: (#)Institution. i.e.: (1)University of Hanover

Please avoid local fonts, characters or textoptions. Characters supported by the software are (ASCII):

Please use following abbreviations for units (ASCII):

Character compliance can be checked using the check character button at the submission form and unrecognized characters will automatically be replaced by '_' and using the abstract preview function.
Step 2) Please decide wether you prefer to present your work in an oral or in a poster session, tick the appropriate section, enter your registration number (Reg. No.)
and click the button to apply.
Step 3) Copy and paste your abstract into the emerging webform. Please do not copy section names (i.e 'Introduction') because they will be inserted automatically.
Check your abstract length and appearance. Preview and finally submit your abstract. The system will send you a confirmation by email after submission.
Please copy the link provided in this email into your webbrowser and follow it to authorize your abstract.
Note: A submitted and authorized abstract can not be changed nor withdrawn online. In case a withdrawal can not be avoided please contact the conference secretariat itt@isah2009.info by email. Abstracts are intended for peer review only.
Final versions for publication in the proceedings should be send in later (see below).
Congress Proceedings & Paper Publication
Oral Presentations and Poster sessions will be published ordered by the congress sections in the proceedings of the XIV ISAH Congress 2009 at Vechta, Germany. Paper length will be limited to four pages.
Speakers will be asked to submit their full papers for publishing after abstract acceptance.
Full information about the submission procedure and deadlines for paper submission will be given later on the congress website, by email to people who ticked the checkbutton for email-newsletter about the congress and with the announcement of the final congress venue.
